Hello. I'm a PhD Candidate at the School of Information at UC Berkeley. I study motivations and incentives for online participation. I study perceptions of trust, reliability, and security online. I study musicians' online social networks. I use multiple methodologies like lab studies, surveys, qualitative interviews, and social network analysis. I draw from social psychology, behavioral economics, anthropology, and sociology. I'm a husband and a dog owner. I'm a web designer and a coder and a gamer.
