I was sent this by a friend i dont know peter but it looks like a good ride and it honors a fellow rider pass this on to as many people as you can
Thanks read below

Peter Kollock Memorial Ride

Peter Kollock, a customer, friend, and one of our personable GDR riders who became known to us as "PK", tragically lost his life on a Saturday morning in January, when he was blown from his F800GS by a strong gust of wind. A prominent and well-loved Professor of Sociology at UCLA, Peter left behind many students who were changed by his teachings. UCLA will be holding a Memorial Service at the campus on Saturday March 14th, from 3pm to 5pm.

I have been asked by the family to organize a motorcycle ride that will serve to honor PK's memory and his love for the sport. As such, I will be leading a ride from the shop on that Saturday 14th, routing through some of the Malibu mountain roads he so enjoyed, aiming to reach the UCLA campus at between 2.30pm and 2.45pm. The route will cover about 50 miles of asphalt roads and take approximately one and a half hours.

The ride is coinciding with the Memorial Service and is open to anyone who wishes to ride with us - attending the actual service will be your choice. We will rendezvous at the shop before 12.30pm in order to depart before 1pm, and would welcome your participation.
In order to gauge the size of the group, please indicate your attendance by clicking yes, I plan to attend.

Thank you.

Sincerely,

Pete MacLachlan
