I'm afraid neither being a burrito expert nor one on sandwiches, but burritos sort of saved my life once I was in Cordoba, Spain, for a flamenco workshop. Feels like ages ago. Wonder whether american burritos differ from spanish ones.. well, will have to wait until occasion lets me have a try. No burrito ever crossed my way in Germany--french baguettes, greek pitas, turkish doeners and lately all kind of portugese sandwichthingies are dominating the scene over here.

I've actually given this a fair amount of thought over the years, as a burrito fan. For me, the best burritos are distinguished by the flavoring of the meat and/or cheese/beans. Salsa and guac add a lot too, of course, but the central flavor should stand out.
