I can only ever remember how to tie two half- hitches. I used to be able to tie a flying bowline in my youth, but I left cub scouts early and didn’t learn the rest.Mostly, if its not two half hitches (why not a whole hitch?) just sort of wing it.

I’m truly glad that I have this history of the relationship between Dave and knots. I also make it my goal to learn the flying bowline because it’s name is just so darn cool.
