		<description>Maybe the trick is to design teaching tools that are flexible enough to adapt to whatever the current fad is. I agree with you about the right questions, but I&#039;d also say that the right question might be different for different media.</description>

Kids I teach at U Maryland and American (so really young men and women), seem to be into livejournal right now, too.  I wonder about the utility of devoting resources to using specific platforms like these if they are going to wind up &quot;uncool&quot; in a year or two.  Also, while I&#039;m a huge advocate for using electronic medial to supplement classroom study, I suspect that asking the right questions - the ones that will make them talk- is more important than using the right media.</description>
