In college I was the musical director of an a cappella group. There, I admit it. Actually, I loved it. We were an all-guys group at Johns Hopkins called The AllNighters, and we were like a fraternity with a purpose other than drinking. I got to sing, to write music, to travel and perform, and through the group I got to hang out with a truly amazing groups of guys.

Anyway, recently I got around to digitizing some video from one of my proudest moments: our run to the finals of a national a cappella competition at Lincoln Center. Yes, there are a cappella competitions. In 2000 we kicked their ass. Anyway, I'm not sure why anyone would watch it, and I hope you don't think it cruel of me to inflict it, but, I'm proud, so…
